The age don't matter to me as long I have a healthy heart (it's my battery without that I don't have nothing). I feel like I am back in my late twenty's still, thanks to my hard workouts and all the advice I get from Yoursuperbody.com friends and Bodybuiling.com. Don't let age hold you back, diet is a key too.

Take care friends, Richard24

Glad to see ya here man. I'm about half your age, but I definitely respect that you train and make things happen man. Once again, happy that you're around and get to lifting!

I'm 41 years old. I train as much as possible to keep my strength up for fire service training.. its gruling and is very hard on the body.. Lifting 10',14', 16' & 24' ladders is heavy stuff.. plus doing that with a 40lb scba( self contained breathing apparatus)... Carrying charged 1 3/4 and 2 1/2 inch preconnected hoses it extremely hard on the body.. Add to that I'm carrying my favorite tool....my Axe ( never leave home without it)..lol..

On top of that I train to stay healthy.. I'm very active outside of workout fire service training.. Being only 5'6" at 180..at 11-12% bf...

well lets see, i`m 41 going on 42 in sept. i work as locomotive engineer for the BNSF and basically have no set schedule which makes figuring out any sort of schedule for training a real pain in the ass.. that and planing my food intake for the day gets a bit frustrating since i`m on a train for the better part of the day, generally 10-12 hours, at any given day or night, so if you think finding something that will taste good at 2 in the morning is easy,,, hmmmm it just seems a bit odd to be eating chicken and brown rice at that time of the day,lol
i do all my training at home, i have the equipment for basically every exercise except for barbell squats, for squats i use dumbbells as well as for doing deadlifts,
my diet right now is a cut, since i`m at 200lbs as of today, which is a increase of about 20lbs over the last 3 months coming off a bulk diet, body fat is 14% so its time to cut back down into the single digits again, my target is for the month of may, probably the end of may,
other than that i`m just your average guy, 2 kids .. 21yr old son and my daughter is 17, seems life gets the better of my training lately but i just need to tighten my diet and my cardio back up and i`ll be back on track..
