Hey how is everybody doing today? It was a snowy day in NYC today. No school or work for me today. Well I choosed to join this site for two things. Gain as much knowledge from those who know more than me (that is if you are willing to help) and because I saw "supermaine" on body space. Awesome physique. Currently training my body at home. Can't afford the gym even though I believe the gym is the place to be in order to get physically fit and muscular but with my current financial issues I don't have that leisure. I do have a barbell and some free weights in my house though. I have a few questions about physical development and also would like to make some new friends. Keep in touch, you will be hearing from me soon. :D

Diet is medium carbs and high protein. At least 3 - 4 meals a day. Eventually my diet will change when I decide to start shredding down. What is your training regime ???

Thank you all for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I am pushing myself everyday to work out with all I have at home. Including some body weight exercises as well. I have been increasing in my gains for the pass couple weeks. I will keep at it until I can afford to get myself to the gym. Hopefully you guys are pumping iron hard. Keep up all the good work and accomplishments.

You have a great base to start with. You're looking very thick. Once you cut down a bit you'll definitely love the results.

Thank you. I should start working on my cardiovascular endurance. That is the only way I will see the hard work I put on week after week. I need to adjust my diet accordingly as well. By the way nice mask.

I do, but I never use it cuz I don't go over to bb.com really that much except to buy supps. The people on there aren't the nicest.

I'm sorry to hear that. People can be cruel sometimes, but its better not to pay attention to their ignorance.

hey well welcome to the site im new to it too.

I'm not really sure how much this will help with u but me being in the marine corps they have us do a lot of body lifts and stuff and 1 thing that I did was bought 1 of those pull-up things that u can put in a door frame and everytime i pass it just do a max set and that has helped me out a lot with my upper body strength and endurance. also a lot of my higher ups have us do a set of push ups or sit ups when they catch us just standing around doing nothing .

Im not sure how much that advice will help but if you are interested in some exercises like that I know a lot that put the body through some pain so just ask I check this as often as I can which is once every couple days. I hope the advice works

Hey That sounds like a good training regime. I usually do push ups before every chest work out. Sometimes after I am done I push myself to do more after the whole thing is over, until failure. I am thinking about buying a pull up bar that I can attach at the entrance of my room. Body weight exercises are the best workouts. I am definitely looking forward on the multiple exercises you are willing to provide me with. I am always looking for new ways of working out and I am very open minded person. Keep in touch and Be well.

ya I mean a lot of the training that I do r more towards the cross fit side of things like 8 count body builders, jump squats and lunges only because of what I have to do I can't be a big bulky dude in a combat zone but I usually run before every workout just to tire myself out as much as possible then I just focus on muscle endurance and keeping my heart rate up.

if you have a hard time doing pull ups 1 thing u can do is if you have a buddy have them assist u to go further than failure or u can get a box and jump a little and pull up the rest to get in those last few reps. I found that just about all of my lifts went up when I started to do dead lifts so I would deffiently reccomend that but I usually do as many sets as it takes to do 100 reps

definitely sounds like some real hard training. I usually do high repetition sets on my leg day. Dead lift to me is the king of exercises. It puts on added mass to your whole body. wow 100 rep dead lifts. I should try that. How much weight do you put on the barbell while performing dead lifts or do you use a dumbbell ?

it all depends but I start at 135 and just keep addin and I usually go as high as 315 and then go back down to 135 and that usually gets me to that magic number. but with the pull ups I usually do them every other day and try and do 50 I do them in sets of 10 but if thats to hard you can do them in sets of 5 and work your way up. first you could start by doin like a pyramid or just doing a set of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and just keep workin on them.

Thank you. The last time I did pull ups I reached up to 9 reps which is not bad, my second set was 8 reps, and my last set was 5, I was just testing out the pull up bar to see how good my back and arm strength are at a friends house. I rather have one in my house tho because I would like to try reaching 50 or more reps like you mentioned above. Today I am resting, every week I train 5 times a day for about 45 minutes and u ?

thats good it took me a long time of being in the marine corps before I could get to 50 n quick sets. umm my workouts r in 2 parts kinda I have 1 with my platoon mon wed fri which we usually run inbetween 3-7 miles and do some ab work or pull ups or push ups and stuff then I go to the gym when I get off work and usually spend around an hour there. another goal for pull ups u can shoot for is to be able to do 20 dead hangs

Are dead hangs the pull up that you go all the way up then while you going down let yourself stretch all the way down and hang for 1 second and go back up. Using full range of motion.

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."

"Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat."

Just a couple of quotes I wanted to share with you. Was cool to read.

Today was one of those days that I felt lazy and did not want to hit the weights. Came from work and went to bed to take a nap, I felt so comfortable that I fell to sleep and woke up an hour later. Was thinking twice before I hit the weights, and in the end I decided to work out. It was a great chest work out. I feel better that I did because If I wouldn't have lifted weights today I would have felt guilty that I didn't and stress about it.
