Basically, The dextrose is used as for glycogen (muscle energy) resynthesis, the dextorse causes a rise in blood sugars which makes the body release insulin which pushes the sugars into the muscle. by taking creatine with the dextrose it will push the creatine and sugars into the muscle,
the best and only time to use dextrose will be directly after your workout add your creatine to the dextrose and some water along with some protein, and shake away,, as the information has said, it works because it is a simple sugar made from corn, it is sweet but not as sweet as regular sugar,
now by drinking this directly after your workout it causes that rise in blood sugar which makes the body release insulin that pushes the sugars into the muscle along with the creatine also,, bamm straight into those starving muscles,, recommended dosage is 50-70 g of this sweet stuff along with your protein and creatine, and you`ll enjoy faster gains in muscle building,, dextrose is alittle know fact but becoming more and more mainstream,, it is very cheap to buy, bodybuilding.com sells it as well as nutraplanet.com, both have very good prices and you may want to check it out..
