Was looking around on the internet, and found somewhere someone writing and suggesting, to take 1.5g of protein per lb of bodyweight.

Is that true ? How much do you consider ?

depends on if your cutting or bulking, if your bulking your intake should be only at 1 gram per pound of bodyweight,as well as if your on a maintenance diet, now if your on a cut diet its closer to this since your trying to maintain your muscle while dropping your calories
mesomorphs- 1.2b/lb -- 1.3 g/lb
ectomorphs- 1.4g/lb-- 1.6 g/lb

1g/lb of bodyweight on a bulk
1 to 1.5g/lb of bodyweight on a cut.

Unless you're on gear of course, which then with the higher nitrogen retention and protein synthesis values you would be able to take in somewhere between 2 and 2.5.
