Abs form a very important and visible region of our body
I was just wondering how often do you people work on it ?
I often stick to once/week, with cable crunches, then obliques w/ a plate or 50lb weight..

You can work your abs with performing compound muscle group excersizes.. Dead, Squats and Bench presses.. Swiss ball work. You can work your abs individually 2 or 3 times a week, depending on how weak /strong they are. It's up to the individual..

When I was in my prime I used to work them every day and then take the weekends off. I noticed awesome results and popping muscles in a month and then in two I was like a new man, chicks also notice and a great way to know how good you look is when they approcah you and try to touch you. If this is already the case then just keep doing what you're doing.

I usually workout on weekends. I really focus on abs. Indeed abs are important and visible part of body.
You got good body, only if you got good abs, for sure !

Abs being visible are of coures important to most men because they think it looks good. I think that we all focus on training the "abs" a little too much though. We should work on building functional core strength (stabalizing as the primary function, flextion and extention as secondary). My midsection has done nothing but get better the longer I stoped focusing on the "abs", and started focusing on the midsection as a whole. I realize I didnt really answer the question because as Chris said some people will do this diffrently and I think if you are able to split it up into diffrent functions you could likely train it almost every day you weight train. I personally am only training it 2 days a week now split up into stabalization and another with flexion/extention of the core (which to an extent will still require you to stabalize yourself).
Day one looks something like this:
Cable isoholds to the front arms fully extended for time x 3
Dumbell side planks for time x 3
Occasionally will throw in another like Dumbell windmills x3x5-10
Day 2
Olympic Situps x3x5-10 (sometimes will offset the weights on the bar to force greater stablization)
Weighted Back Extentions x3x5-10
Occasionally will throw in a Dragon Flag or two where I hold a very low angle body fully straitened (nothing but my sholders touching the bench) for time.
I say screw those stupid balls you see everyone prancing around on, they only leave so much room for improvement, and In my opinion will not have much if any cross over into every day atheletic situations or even into other areas of weightlifting.
