yes kelly you can eat chicken and pasta, i would suggest that you buy the whole wheat pasta, since the other plain pasta does not have the same value in terms of complex carbs like whole wheat pasta has, i ate it during my last cut, but the key is to measure out your cooked pasta and use a measuring cup to scoop it onto your plate, otherwise you`ll be just guessing, i used about 1 cup, which was around 40 grams of carbs, also watch what kind of pasta sauce you buy, some are loaded with sugars, but there are some really healthy pasta sauces, just read the labels and pick one that has the least amount of sodium and sugars, also throw in some broccoli into the mix.. its a great meal..

Just watch your portion sizes and keep a food log, it will help you in recording your food intake and calories for each day.. If your already using one great, if not I will be uploading a training log an meal log soon.. It will have calculations build in already.. just put in your #'s and viola.. your done...

Have smaller portions of each more frequently and your'e good. Eating isn't the only factor in losing weight. Your overall plan has to work. drink lots of water, boost your metabolism, and the key factor is time. Over time you'll start to notice the changes taking place in your body.
