if you were to rely on 3 ways to bring targeted traffic to your website what would they be?
i am thinking of creating a girls fitness forum
whats your ideas guys?

the best way is backlinks,backlinks and more backlinks this is tried and trusted way to bring traffic to your site unless you want to pay for it if you do that then make sure its targetted

so that means we cant come over and play ?? no tea partys for the boys?? just kidding,, what you should do here is start a sections for you young ladys, like we have over at bodybuildingdungeon.com... its a big hit with the females there, the make their own topics and us guys can look over and offer some help also, helps them feel part of the forum that way... just a thought..

Target a group of people, or SEO, or just submit to palces like Digg or Stumbleupon. Great to help increase traffic. Also, place tags and relevant ads on your site so that people can find it easily. Great content also helps in good traffic. If you have boring things, people will leave after a few minutes, but if you have really interesting topics, people will leave and come back the next day, hoping to see something interesting again.

I would prefer to go for as many as backlink's as you can.
Another way is to go for SEO, either hire an expert, or try yourself :)
Also try some directory submissions.
